Customer ServiceGrow Your Business Manage Customers Like A Pro with Repair Shop Software by RepairDesk May 18, 2020 written by RepairDesk May 18, 2020 1.4K Every retailer wishes for a magic wand that he can wave and all his customer data is managed. We can’t promise you a wand but our repair shop software has the best solution for you to manage customers and it works just like magic! RepairDesk has an integrated customer management system for repair shop retailers that they have high regard for. They also give us their feedback for new additions and improvements in our manage customers module. We not only appreciate their responses but also implement those elements in our repair shop software. So, here are the latest additions in RepairDesk that will give you more control in customer management. Table of Contents Toggle Custom FieldsCustomer TaxesTrade-in HistoryMerge CustomersManage Customers with RepairDesk Custom Fields Every repair shop retailer has a different requirement of data entry fields. Some of them like to have a complete information record on each customer with all kinds of data fields. Others wrap it up with only basic detail fields like name, phone, and email. So, to keep it all good, we have added the option of “manage custom fields”. You can now add new data fields for customer information in your POS system. Enable, disable, or make the field mandatory as per your preferences. Customer Taxes Many a time repair retailers deal with corporate customers and charge no tax on their repairs. Similarly, they do business with other repeat customers under a designated tax. All in all, they need the option of assigning a tax type against a specific customer so their sales and taxations are automatically aligned. And now you have it. Select specific tax types for your individual customers or customer groups and never worry about the taxations again! Trade-in History Trade-ins are a great way of expanding the horizons of your repair business. If you are a repair retailer in the EU or the UK, you must go for the VAT Margin Scheme for trades of used devices. Anyhow, if you buy and sell pre-owned customer devices, chances are that this new trade-in history tab in each customer’s information will serve you the best. Merge Customers If you have to deal with multiple copies of the same customer’s information in your POS system, you are going to love this one. Manage customers’ data most efficiently with the option of merging those copies into one. For this action, simply select a copy customer and the system will hunt down all the customer profiles that have the same first name, last name, phone number, or email information. See which one is the copy of, select that one as the target profile, and merge the two into one. Your repair shop software will link all tickets, invoices, and other records of the two copy accounts with the final one. Manage Customers with RepairDesk These are all our hottest improvements in manage customers module of RepairDesk. We hope that you find them helpful in the daily hassle of your repair shop. Check out our other latest features and additions in this week’s release. And let us know if you have any suggestions for us to develop in our repair shop software to help you stay on the top of your business. 0 comments 0 FacebookTwitterPinterestEmail RepairDesk previous post Release Notes Web: Avoid Duplication and Merge Same Customer Records! next post Win the Hearts of Customers with Your Repair Services Related Posts Download Free Work Authorization Form for Cellphone or...
