2-Way SMS through SMS Broadcast: Let your Customers Talk!

by RepairDesk
2-way SMS

We have BIG news for our customers in the UK & Australia as one of their highly demanded features is now live!

Let’s talk about what we have changed.

If you want to advertise a new promotion at your repair store or need to communicate with all of your customers, that shouldn’t be a problem. However, can you get a response from customers? If your customers can’t respond to you, wouldn’t that hinder feedback and how would you know that you are moving in the right direction? This is why, 1-way SMS, while very useful, is a bit limited when it comes to customer-repair store owner communication. And our customers in the UK and Australia told us so.

2-way SMS is an ideal way to maintain consistent and timely communication with your customers. As customers now expect fast and effective communication with companies, brands, and service providers, it is essential to let them talk. And then allow yourself to talk back. The process then continues as required.

When you send customers an SMS blast, they can now respond back with questions, feedback, complaints, suggestions etc. and you can then respond accordingly. This makes communication fast and efficient and results in better customer service and bigger profits.

You will be given a “Dedicated Inbound Number” which means customers can contact you any time via text and their messages will be displayed right within RepairDesk.

That’s not all, with our recent update you can also reply to a custom message directly from your account. It’s your number, so you can advertise it, publish it or distribute it, knowing you’ll get all the responses right where you need them.

Let’s take a quick look at how it makes things better:

  • Receive replies from customers anytime with all the history records.
  • Broadcast customer replies to a list of selected members.
  • Highlight responses in RepairDesk account as push notifications.

*An important concern is; what’s the cost for a dedicated inbound or virtual number per year? Here are the details;
