The RepairDesk’s iPad POS Register app has recently been updated to v4.4 on the App Store. This update brings improvements and bug fixes to our iPad platform, making things a lot smoother for some core features of the application. Read on to learn more about what’s been touched up in this newest release.

Improvements

Alphanumeric keypad for inserting passcode

A lot of times, customers have their device locked with an alphanumeric password or pattern. In order to make recording their alphanumeric password a lot easier, we have added support for the alphanumeric keyboard when taking down passcodes while creating a ticket from iPad app.

Bug-Fixes

The following bugs were encountered by EPSON printer users using our iPad app on iOS 13.

1. Unable to make a new sale after automatic printing

When an automatic print was taken using EPSON printer, the button to make a new sale after checkout would sometimes get disabled. This bug has been fixed.

2. Printer disconnection with cash drawer

When a cash drawer was opened multiple times, the EPSON printer would get disconnected. This issue has been fixed now and you will not face connectivity issue while using your cash drawer and EPSON printer together.
