If your business is based in the European Union (EU), or you process the personal data of EU citizens, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) affects you. According to GDPR law, if you have customers in (EU), you must ask for their consent to store their personal details and get their permission before sending them follow-up marketing or promotional Email / SMS via RepairDesk.
At RepairDesk, we’ve been busy working to ensure we are compliant when GDPR comes into effect on 25th March, 2018 and we’ve added some new tools and resources to support your compliance with the EU GDPR legislation, which goes into effect this Friday.

We’ve also added related updates to our Privacy Policy and our help centre FAQ answers the most common questions we’ve heard about how the GDPR will impact your use of RepairDesk. We are, as always, happy to respond to additional questions via chat or email — just keep in mind that our team can’t provide legal advice. If you have questions about your company’s GDPR compliance, you should direct those to your legal counsel.

Note: If you are using iPad POS Register app please log-out and log-in again to get the latest settings for GDPR compliance.

If you have more queries with respect to General Data Protection compliance, contact our Data Protection Officer at [email protected].
